Strengthen Thinking and Connection
Connect at Home™ is a self-paced, therapist-guided program that helps families confidently support their loved one through structured Cognitive Stimulation activities at home, in their own time.
What Research Shows:
-
The brain continues to respond to conversation and stimulation, even when dementia is part of life.
-
Structured Cognitive Stimulation targets areas of thinking and language commonly affected by dementia.
-
Meaningful activity and social connection can support mood, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Connect at Home was developed by a neurological physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience.
How Cognitive Stimulation Helps
Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) is an internationally recognised approach that uses structured conversations and themed activities to stimulate thinking, language, and engagement.
Research shows CST can support:
Thinking &
Language
Encouraging conversation, word finding, and discussion.
Confidence in Communication
Supporting people to share ideas, memories and opinions.
Social
Connection
Builds confidence and supports meaningful shared experiences.
Creative & Sensory Engagement
Using creativity and the senses to spark interest and enjoyment
Mood &
Wellbeing
Enjoyable activities that help people feel engaged and valued.
These are professionally designed activities, not games.
They encourage thoughtful conversation and reflection while strengthening confidence and connection.
Just as exercise supports our physical health
Cognitive activities support our brain health

Cognitive Stimulation at Home
Connect at Home™ was created for families who would like to bring the benefits of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) into the home.
After running group Cognitive Stimulation programs and seeing the positive impact they could have, many families asked what they could do to continue supporting connection and thinking at home.
The sessions introduce topics and activities that may not naturally arise in everyday life, helping stimulate areas of thinking, language, and connection.
