Free information often tells you what dementia is. Understanding Dementia™ helps you understand what it means for your family and what you can do to make a positive difference.Drawing on more than 25 years of experience as a neurological physiotherapist, I've brought together the practical education and guidance I commonly share during private consultations into one therapist-guided program. Through clear, evidence-based explanations, practical strategies and downloadable resources, you'll gain the understanding and confidence to better support everyday life.
Understanding Dementia™ is designed for family members, friends and support people of someone living with early to mid stage dementia. It sets families on a positive pathway after diagnosis by helping them understand what's changing, discover what can help, explore available support options, and confidently support everyday life together.
No. Understanding Dementia™ is designed to be self-paced, so you can watch the videos whenever it suits you during your six months of access. The only scheduled component is one optional live online group Q&A session with Amanda, where you can ask general questions and gain additional guidance. If you're unable to attend the live session, you'll still receive the full educational program and have access to all videos and downloadable resources throughout your six-month access period. Your downloadable resources are yours to keep and refer back to whenever you need them.
Because Understanding Dementia™ is a digital program with immediate access to all content, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind once your purchase has been completed. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
