Why I Created
Dementia ConnectEd®
As a neurological physiotherapist, I have spent over 25 years helping people adapt to life after neurological injury and disease.
Rehabilitation is about helping people make the most of their strengths so they can continue living well.
When I began working with families living with dementia, they often told me they had received lots of information about dementia and what to expect, but what they really wanted to know was:
"What can we do to help?"
My programs help families replace uncertainty with understanding, giving them the confidence to take positive, evidence-based action and continue living well together.
While we can't change the diagnosis,
we can change how we live with it.
